We are thrilled to announce the addition of two accomplished individuals to the Quickload Advisory Board, effective immediately.

Leandro Finol is a highly visible member of the Miami entrepreneurial ecosystem. He recently founded Platform Miami, which provides a playbook of best practices, execution, and Silicon Valley contacts to help early-stage entrepreneurs scale their businesses.

In his previous experience as executive director of The Idea Center at Miami-Dade College, Mr. Finol helped mentor the next generation of business leaders. The Idea Center offers a support network for MDC students and the Miami community to help make entrepreneurial ideas come to life.

Mr. Finol grew up in Venezuela and moved to the U.S. on a Fulbright scholarship in 1999 and later graduated from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. After years as an executive at the Cisneros Group, he launched Direct4U in 2001. Direct4U became the second-largest distributor of pay TV in the United States, with over 300 employees and $76 million in annual revenue. Finol sold the business to Red Ventures in 2008 and held positions with telecommunications and power companies before joining The Idea Center. He is also an active investor in retail and telecommunications businesses.

Antonio Ellek is president of Elma Farms, a healthy snacks company providing 100% shelf sustainable all-natural snacks. Elma Farms products are sold in over 15 countries worldwide.

Previously, Mr. Ellek was the co-founder and CEO of Pasha’s, a popular Mediterranean fast-food restaurant chain in South Florida. Ellek has served as a banker of Union Bank of Switzerland in Zürich and worked with BNP Paribas in New York. He also worked with PepsiCo Restaurants International (now Yum Brands), including KFC, Pizza Hut, and Taco Bell. He holds MBA from Harvard University in 1996 and a BS from University of Virginia in 1991.

“Quickload is excited to have Leandro Finol and Antonio Ellek join our Board of Advisors. Their startup experience in the Miami ecosystem and their entrepreneurial spirit will be a huge asset to Quickload as we continue to use technology to bring more efficiency and transparency to the trucking industry,” said Quickload founder/CEO, Ozan Baran.
